Wizume vs Jobscan — builder + pack vs named-ATS matching

Jobscan is a scanner that names ATS vendors. Wizume is a builder that scores JD keywords and formatting — and we say that difference plainly.

Jobscan’s value is match reports against job descriptions, with a free tier of about five scans per month and Premium around $50/month or $90/quarter. Wizume is not a Jobscan clone: you edit the resume here, export PDF, generate a cover letter, and optionally buy a single scan. We do not sell “this will pass Workday.” Last reviewed August 2026.

Side by side

Wizume: free master PDF; Application Pack from $4 / €2; Pro from $19/mo or $99 lifetime (USD). PAYG ATS and AI credits from $2. EU/UK prices differ — see /pricing. Jobscan public prices commonly listed in 2026: free (~5 scans/month); Premium about $49.95/month or $89.95/quarter. Recheck jobscan.co before you buy — we could not treat third-party roundups as a contract.

Choose Wizume if

You need to write and export the resume, not only scan it — plus a cover letter, tracker, PAYG, and an honest keyword preview that does not impersonate a vendor ATS.

Choose Jobscan if

You already have a resume file and want match-rate reports that mention specific ATS products, LinkedIn optimization, and you will pay Premium for unlimited scans.

Named ATS vs keyword preview

Jobscan markets match rates against applicant tracking systems by name. Wizume does not. Our internal L04 uploads showed Lever parsing contact and current company, Greenhouse accepting the file without candidate-form autofill, and Workday blocked by login. That is not a certification.

The public /resume-checker is a client-side keyword preview. It never calls the paid ats-score function. After signup we still do not auto-burn a credit — you open Application Pack when you are ready.

Where Wizume is stronger

If the resume does not exist yet, a scanner is the wrong first tool. Wizume’s twelve single-column templates, AI bullets, and Application Pack are the writing surface. PAYG undercuts a $50/month scan subscription if you apply to a handful of roles.

FAQ

Does Wizume simulate Workday or Greenhouse?
No. Do not buy Wizume for a named-ATS pass rate. Jobscan’s product is closer to that category. Wizume scores keywords and formatting and keeps parser-safe layouts.
Is the guest checker the same as Jobscan’s free scans?
No. Ours is local keyword overlap (up to eight missing terms plus formatting checks). Jobscan’s free tier is a limited number of their match reports per month.
What if I only need a scan?
Use Jobscan. If you also need to rewrite, export PDF, and send a cover letter, Wizume is the shorter path.
