Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to Wizume at wizume.ai and related services (the "Service") operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 16 years old (or older if required where you live) and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service if you are barred under applicable law.

• Keep login credentials confidential and notify us of unauthorized access.
• Provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
• You are responsible for activity under your account.

Paid plans are billed in EUR, GBP, or USD via Stripe. Wizume is the merchant of record; Stripe is our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in the billing portal. Prices shown at checkout may include applicable VAT or sales tax where Stripe Tax calculates it. We do not store full card numbers.

Refunds and cancellation rights are in our Refund Policy. One-off credits are non-refundable once granted except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, mandatory statutory rights apply and are not limited by these Terms, including rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and equivalent EEA consumer protection laws. Distance-contract cancellation rights are described in our Refund Policy.

The Service may generate or suggest resume and cover letter text using third-party AI models. You remain responsible for reviewing accuracy, legality, and suitability before submitting applications. We do not guarantee interviews or offers.

You retain ownership of resumes, cover letters, and other content you create. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, back up, and display that content solely to operate the Service, including sending it to AI providers when you request AI features.

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, discriminatory, or infringing material.
• Probe or disrupt the Service, scrape at scale, or circumvent usage limits.
• Resell access without written permission.
• Use the Service to make hiring decisions about third parties without appropriate lawful basis and notices.

We aim for high availability but provide the Service as is. Maintenance, third-party outages, or force majeure may cause interruptions. We may modify features with reasonable notice where practicable.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or risk to other users. Export data before closure where the product allows.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Subject to the above, our total liability for claims arising from the Service in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period (or £100 / €100 / $100 equivalent if you use only free features). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses except where prohibited by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. EU consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable.

If you access the Service from the United States, these Terms apply to the extent permitted by US federal and state law. Some states do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.
